I was very worried about how that scene would be received - it's almost kind of sort of Wincest except it really isn't. Honest: I had to write the comm mods to figure out how to label for it. Very happy to hear that it worked for at least one reader.

And yeah - Crowley. I'd been incorporating the new canon as I'd written, but I'd already made up Crowley's backstory by the time 6.04 aired, and between my desire to hold onto the Spanish Inquisition line and the fact that show picked up on the True Names thing and went a whole other direction with it - I decided they were signs from the gods that I maybe as well accept my AU reality. But I loved writing Crowley - it was fun to have a character who wasn't necessarily *bad* but definitely wasn't human. Glad to hear you agreed!
