Ah, a twink!Jensen icon! I've been known to have issues with those: namely, when dragonspell uses her jailbait!Jensen icons while posting filthy yet irresistable RPS about him. I feel like he's staring at me through the years, judging me (not enough to make me stop reading, mind you, DS has killed more of my squicks than just about anyone else). Hence my sudden insecurity and need to mock him? Possibly.
This has also affected my love for 3rd Rock. Yes, it's 95% John Lithgow mugging for the camera (but he does it so well), yes, JGL is indeed two years older than I am; but JGL's face has changed so little since then that watching it feels just the tiniest bit like child pornography. I mean, not as bad as Jensen in the polka-dot shirt, but there's some residual guilt there.
None of this makes any sense, really: does my love of the daguerrotype blog, or my lifelong and on-going crush on Paul Newman make me a necrophiliac? When I'm older, will I be allowed to lust after (wo)men in their twenties? When does the shame stop? When did I suddenly pick up shame again?
If I ever do manage to follow up on this, I will be sure to let you know here. As I too forget stuff like this a lot, but attention must be paid to twinks such as he (was). =D
