Ficlets: "Pillow Talk," "Cultural Diversity," & "Leaving" (Tempus Frangit Drabbles Part 3)
"Time Flies" is a collection of drabbles, droubles, and dribbles that occur during Another Side of the Sky. This set all take place during chapter three and before chapter four.

"Pillow Talk" (100 Words)
For the first time the Doctor wakes up to find Buffy watching over him. “Hello.” She smiles. “You jumped when you woke up. Worried I’d run off?”
The Doctor props himself up on his elbows. “After all the work you did to get me here? Hardly.” Buffy tilts her head. “I knew you were there, you’ve got that psychic field.” She doesn’t reply. “Maybe. Just half a heartbeat.”
Buffy tosses the pillow (which was the only thing covering her) at him. “That’s all I was looking for.” She climbs back under the sheets.
“What’s that?”
“Just making sure it mattered.”
"Cultural Diversity: Or How the Doctor Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Leather Trousers" (100 Words)
A/N: Inspired by a line from Better With Two
She emerges in buckskin leather trousers and nothing else. The only noise escaping his lips is “Wha?”
Buffy laughs. “Look around Doctor. See any shirts? Aren’t you supposed to be the one prattling on about how 'breasts are viewed as sacred in this culture, covering them is sacrilege, must respect local customs and all?'”
“Yes, but-“ Her arms are folded under them and with every giggle he watches them bounce and twitch. Bits of him start to twitch too. “We’re never coming to another fertility festival.”
He gasps as she grabs his lapels. “Maybe you’ll change your mind.”
He does.
"Leaving" (50 Words)
“Where do you want to go?” The words burn his throat as they come out.
Buffy won’t look up. “Don’t care. Wherever you think I can’t mess things up.”
“Buffy-“
“No, Doctor. Not now. Maybe later. Maybe not. But not now.”
He sets coordinates for the Silver Devastation. Later then.
