Remix gifts are awesome

Should have mentioned this earlier but, well, I'm flaky at times.  A lovely anon did something amazing - took an exceptionally silly comment fic that I wrote (while drunk) for the prompt "bird shit" and turned it into a remarkably effective and tight character-study of Dean Winchester and the twisted interplay of porn, coffee, google, his conscience, and birdshit in his mind.  It's delightful and unexpected and I couldn't have asked for anything better.  So go check out Someone had written "clean me" in the scum around the edge and give it all the love it deserves.

May Writing Meme: Day 5

Seeing as I'm not accomplishing much writing lately (not technically true: I'm writing lots, but the deadlines keep wooshing by without me) I may as well write about writing and count that as an accomplishment. This meme is courtesy of my beloved jjhunter , and the full list of questions can be found at her original post, here. 

Day 5: What tools do you use to write? Audio recordings, pen and paper, computer software, other methods, some mixture thereof?

I'm usually typing away on a computer, be it on Word, Open Office, or Google Docs (which is especially good for collaborative efforts).  If I'm writer's blocked, eventually I'll break out pen and ink and try to break through it longhand.  Sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't.
